The Lifestyle Compendium
Vol. 4 Launch Party
Hosted at Norton & Sons, in collaboration with Monte.

An Evening of Craft and Conversation
To mark the launch of The Lifestyle Compendium Vol. 4, friends of The Guide gathered for an intimate evening at Norton & Sons, to celebrate.

In collaboration with MONTE, the event reflected the spirit of the publication itself: rooted in quality.
Norton & Sons offered a fitting backdrop - a space where heritage and modernity sit comfortably together.

Guests arrived to dry vodka martinis and classic cosmopolitans, setting a relaxed, confident tone for the evening.
The evening was sponsored by Black Cow Vodka, NOAM and Feral, whose offerings echoed the night’s emphasis on provenance, independence and restraint.

Conversations drifted from tailoring and travel to art, design and the evolving rhythms of modern life. Copies of The Lifestyle Compendium Vol. 4 passed from hand to hand, its pages sparking discussion around the stories, imagery and ideas that shape the issue.

About Vol. 4
The Lifestyle Compendium Vol. 4 is a study in considered risk. This edition turns its attention to individuals who chose the uncertain path - those who stepped away from convention, trusted their instincts and built momentum through clarity and conviction.
We sit with James Edward, tracing his evolution from digital storyteller to founder of Monte, shaped by discipline, philosophy and an uncompromising pursuit of progress.
We speak with Natalie Enslöw, founder of biotech-led skincare brand Fjör, on leaving the corporate world to redefine beauty through science and simplicity.
We spend time with Sophie Javadi-Babreh, stewarding the revival of Thames Carpets by bridging centuries-old craft with contemporary instinct.
And we join Kwabena Peprah, an actor forging his own route through British film and television with resilience and self-belief.
A 192-page collector’s volume rooted in purpose, precision and modern ambition, Vol. 4 brings together voices connected not by industry, but by intent - choosing direction over chance, and substance over noise.
